AFTER RECEIVING THE ORDER

We harvest our citrus fruits

To safeguard the freshness of your orders, the citrus fruit is harvested only after receiving the order and we ship within one day of collection.

In order to guarantee the shortest time interval between the fruits picking and their arrival on your tables, we decided to organize the shipments and, therefore, the harvest, exclusively in the first days of the week.

For this reason, the shipments destined within the Italian territory are carried out by express courier only on Monday and Tuesday of each week. In this way, the deliveries can be performed in 48-72 working hours within the week, in order to avoid unnecessary storage at the courier offices during the weekend.

The European shipments are made exclusively on Mondays so those deliveries can be made within the week, in 72-96 working hours , thus ensuring maximum freshness.

How to store our products

The oranges, which were harvested shortly before shipment, are extremely fresh and therefore can conserved for more than 20 days in a cool, dry and preferably ventilated place (refrigerator, cellar, balcony). It is recomended to take off the fruits present inside the packaging used for transport and to spread out them to promote ventilation and avoid contact, which can help the propagation of mold and rot.

They mustn’t be exposed to sources of heat and frost.

Each product has its season, we only harvest the fruitts when they are fully ripe. Our citrus fruits are NOT treated with any type of wax and antifungal substances (like Imazalil), therefore the skin is entirely EDIBLE and suitable for any type of preparation in the kitchen.

HOW TO BUY

Terrecosta citrus fruits

We offer various purchase solutions for Terrecosta citrus fruits. The oranges are sold in boxes of 10 kg, 16 kg and 23 kg. Mandarins, clementines, lemons and cedars are available in small nets of 3 kg and 5 kg or in boxes of 10 kg and 16 kg. Terrecosta also gives you the opportunity to compose your own package.
